This cabin, built for two, offers a perfect romantic getaway.  Located on Lookout Mountain adjacent to DeSoto State Park, this cabin is set atop a hill overlooking two ponds. Enjoy the screened-in front porch with scenic pastoral views; watch Canadian Geese glide across the sky, and relax in peaceful surroundings.

Itinerary at a Glance:

• Day 1:
  Brew yourself a fresh pot of coffee and relax on the screened in front porch. Take an evening stroll down a country road and watch Cardinals and Bluebirds at play. Be quiet…you may even spot a herd of deer as they cross the pasture to graze. Dine at a variety of restaurants on Lookout Mountain or in nearby downtown Fort Payne.
• Day 2:
  Rise to a basket of fruit and muffins for a light breakfast. Plan your days’ adventures to include fishing from a stocked pond. Add to your list of things to do by hiking in nearby DeSoto State Park, viewing waterfalls within the park, and taking a scenic 23-mile drive along the rim of the Little River Canyon National Preserve. Wind down for the night with a romantic dinner at Wildflower Cafe.
• Day 3:
  Relax on the front porch with your cup of coffee or head over to DeSoto State Park only 3 minutes away, for a hearty breakfast at the Mountain Inn Restaurant. Follow up breakfast with a hike on the Azalea Cascades Boardwalk Trail. Be sure to take a pair of binoculars on the hike for some spectacular bird watching and a camera to capture the beauty of this state park, rated a top 10 park in the nation. Before departing, make plans to return to this secluded hideaway and enjoy more of what Lookout Mountain has to offer.
